Kassett

Kassett began as an idea about structure. A subtle pattern inspired by architecture, construction, and systems; where order and repetition formed the starting point. As the project evolved, it took a new direction. The pattern gradually receded into the background, allowing colour to become the defining element.

Together with Røros Tweed, a variety of colour combinations were explored, drawing inspiration from architectural and cultural colour palettes. Through this process, Kassett emerged as a blanket in which the nuances of colour create rhythm, depth, and character.

The palette is built around analogous and split-complementary colour relationships, while the contrasting blanket stitch forms a distinctive and defining detail. The result is a textile with a contemporary, expression— one in which colour tells the story.
